[ Ichiru's stubborn and it's hard to make him agree to anything. He's content with Zero not pressing the matter too much. Ichiru doesn't focus too much on his surroundings. He's still trying his best to ensure the room isn't shaking anymore. He puts a hand to his head to somehow appease the dizziness he's feeling.
He does hear what Zero has to say. So far, he hasn't gathered much from a few people he's encountered. ]
What else happens here, aside what you have already told and what has happened to my body?
[ He's firm on his question because he doesn't need to be careless in this place. He has plenty, actually. Zero might be his best bet for answers. ]
["What happens". . . It's a loaded question. One that has him tensing a little.]
There have been a couple of patterns. One being that a group of newcomers arrive on the tenth of every month. You're among the third. The other is that something happens within this school, also once a month.
[He pauses while recalling for a moment.]
In both of the two so far, people have died. It's the reason why there's a massive bloodstain in classroom 3-A, as well as the cafeteria. [. . .] More recently there was a group of ten of us students who were killed as well. During that time, too, a number of spirits roamed the school, causing a number of things.
[Such as one, who liked screaming out very personal details. ]
On that note, though. . . death is not permanent, here. People are revived after several days.
[he seems to easily move on from this]
Apart from the shifting hallways, the building itself has a number of peculiarities. There are a good number of locked doors; the windows cannot be broken no matter how hard one tries. I'd advise to stay away from both the elevator and the library. Additionally, come midnight, the lights go out, and don't turn on again until 6 in the morning.
There also is no leaving the building; no matter how close you get to the main entrance, you'll never actually reach it when the doors are open. If you want fresh air, the only way is to go to the courtyard. It's unknown how far up the building goes. Only that we have access to three floors.
[. . .Leaving it at that for right now. It's a lot for just the start.]
[ Ichiru of course notices when Zero tenses up at the question. He doesn't seem to question it, rather he waits patiently for an answer. It is a lot he assumes, but it's not like he can beat around the bush. The information, however long is crucial for him. He needs to know what is going on and what has already happened. He may seem a little reckless at times, but he's quite aware of things around him. It is just a lot harder when he's not at his best.
All the while Zero speaks to him, he doesn't comment on what is being said. He only listens to the explanation as it is given to him, taking mental note of the important key factors of the conversation. Honestly, maybe it isn't the best time to ask that question since he's struggling to keep his attention. However, he's not too exhausted to hear what is being said.
When Zero pauses, he takes a moment to process again. So there is no way out of the school for the time being. There are things that go bump in the night and there are many floors that exist in the building. It's a school, yet rather eerie things happen. Ichiru knits his brows together at the mention of death being something like a reset. He doesn't like the sound of it, seeing he's used to being dead and staying that way. He notes that the library and the elevator are places to avoid but he might investigate them when he is better. What is even more annoying is the idea of having his time here controlled to some extent.
If he gets killed, it would be a troublesome process to endure because now knows that he can wake up from death. ]
They sure make things complicated. They do not want us to leave or have any hope of leaving.
[ He muses after a long moment of silence before adding. ]
How troublesome. I suppose we do not know who is behind this either, do we?
[He can guess well enough that Ichiru may not be up for so much all at once. It's why he'll slow down, and only answer the more specific questions.
This isn't the only time they'll be able to talk.]
No. We don't have even an idea. People have speculated that it could be the principal, but there's been no actual hints towards it, nor have we even caught sight of, or heard from them.
[ True enough, thus he appreciates the basics that he's getting, even if it is a little overwhelming for his mind right now. Eventually, he does process the important aspects of what is being told to him. ]
How strange. It is as if they don't exist. I assume people have attempted to investigate the matter?
There are locations throughout the school that have been inaccessible from the start, including the previously mentioned locked doors. A few of the 'natives' here have spoken to us, such as the gardener, however he never has anything useful to say.
Over time there may be more available to us, but in these past two months there otherwise hasn't been very much.
A couple of students have been very on top of things in terms of taking down any information or changes that take place. I've added all that has been mentioned, myself, in my notebook. You're more than welcome to copy it down, as well.
[All of it is immediately thinking of Dr. Kite, however also the Yao Corporation. They had eyes and ears nearly everywhere. Even if Zero would rather not even think of it, what he fears most is if whomever is in control of this place is even worse than that sick and twisted monster of a man.]
[ Ichiru chuckled almost bitterly at their agreement. It had been a long time since there was something they agreed on, but Ichiru may come off as a little bit incompetent but that was only on the surface. He was quite the clever character. He closed his eyes as he leaned back into the chair. He was extremely tired and this seemed like a good spot to stop. ]
It would be for the best, I assume.
[ Maybe the fever is getting to him because he can start to feel himself lose concentration on the conversation. ]

[He briefly glances back towards the door.]
Here and there, yes.

I suppose that would be useful for me. I would rather not be lacking information in this foreign world.
[ Of course, that means he's doing his own investigations when he's a lot better too, though Zero's notes will be useful as he assumes. ]
They certainly enjoy making everything complicated for us.

[Really, though. Huge props to Slaine, Nao, and Labrys.]
To say the least. I'm sure they're elsewhere just watching all of this.
[It's clear upon his face, too, that he's more than just irked by the notion.]
no subject
I suppose that is also a possibility. We shouldn't put anyone past this.
[ He mused lightly. Ichiru notices that expression. If he's been around her for a while, he would have to. Not that he likes very much right now. ]

More quietly.]
. . . I'll keep watch, then.
[Sleep is difficult enough to come by, here.]

He can hear Zero's voice, but he probably might have drifted off by then.
Maybe when he wakes up, things will be a better and he can ask more questions. ]
